We are pleased to announce the Search for the Best Mentor in Health Research Award for the year 2019.  The award aims to recognize excellence in mentorship that instills passion among researchers resulting to enhanced relevance and productivity in health research.  It also aims to reward mentors who have built the capacities of researchers in health sector which led to significant advances in the Philippine National Health Research System (PNHRS) thrusts as identified in the National Unified Health Research Agenda (NUHRA).

This is open to all Filipino citizens actively involved in mentoring researchers/students or colleagues for at least 5 years. Nominations can be made by heads of institutions, immediate supervisor/s, colleagues/s, trainee/s, or student / advisee.  Past winners cannot be nominated and self-nomination is not allowed. Each cluster winner (Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao and NCR) will receive a plaque of recognition and cash prize of P200, 000.00 while the national winner will receive a trophy and cash prize of P500, 000.00.

In this regard, may we request you to disseminate the call for nominations to the members of your institution.  Deadline for nomination is on January 11, 2019.  Only prescribed forms should be used and any alteration on the form is not allowed.
